M\u00e1s tarde,\u00a0<em>Marcia Pearson<\/em> lo populariza con su grupo <strong>\u201cFashion\u00a0With\u00a0Compassion\u201d<\/strong> en los a\u00f1os 70. <strong>Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, personas por el trato \u00e9tico a los\u00a0 animales)\u00a0<\/strong>en la d\u00e9cada de los 80, denunci\u00f3 y logr\u00f3 detener el maltrato animal dentro de un laboratorio en Maryland (donde manten\u00edan monos amarrados a sillas de metal), y comenz\u00f3 a investigar otros casos.<\/p>\n<p>Una empresa puede considerarse \u00bb<strong><em>cruelty free\u00bb<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0cuando ninguno de sus productos, sean del tipo que sean, son testados en animales. La certificaci\u00f3n es entregada por organizaciones internacionales como <em>PETA<\/em>, <em>Leanping Bunny, CCF, BIDH, Natru, ACENE, KARACOREA<\/em>, etc.<\/p>\n<p>El aumento de la concienciaci\u00f3n en torno al cambio clim\u00e1tico que sufre hoy en d\u00eda nuestro planeta ha hecho que cada vez sean m\u00e1s los movimientos que luchan por defender el medio ambiente. As\u00ed, el cuidado de los mares, la disminuci\u00f3n del uso de pl\u00e1stico, el fin del uso de las pieles en el mundo de la moda y la eliminaci\u00f3n de las pruebas de cualquier producto sobre animales empiezan a ser causas en\u00a0las que, cada vez, nos implicamos m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Desafortunadamente a\u00fan quedan algunos pa\u00edses que se resisten a cambiar sus pol\u00edticas como es el caso de <em>China<\/em><strong>.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Sus leyes siguen exigiendo pruebas con animales en todos los productos cosm\u00e9ticos que se fabrican fuera del pa\u00eds<\/strong><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>Esto incluye maquillaje, perfumes, protecci\u00f3n solar, productos para el cabello, desodorantes, cremas, productos blanqueadores, etc.<\/p>\n<p>En Junio de 2014 los consumidores m\u00e1s compasivos se mostraron encantados al o\u00edr que China finalmente realizaba algunos cambios en sus requisitos sobre experimentaci\u00f3n en animales. Y aunque este es un paso muy importante, debemos advertir que a\u00fan hoy los cosm\u00e9ticos fabricados fuera de las fronteras chinas no pueden ser comercializados en el pa\u00eds sin antes ser testados en animales.
